Documentary Photography

Today's task is to find documentary photographers who have blogged their work on the Internet.  I am researching Aussie photographers.  The first photographer I have found is:

He is a professional photographer of over 20 years.  He is one of the premiere Australian Landscape Photographers, Christian has just won the AIPP Australian and Western Australian Landscape Photographer of the Year 2011

Below are some examples of his work.

This was taken in Melbourne
Quorn QU9900F

"During World War II, Quorn was a vital service point for trains heading north to Alice Springs and carried over 1,000,000 troops heading to Darwin and on to Papua New Guinea".

This next photographer is:

She began her career by pursuing a degree in Social Work, however, she changed her focus to Photography.
Her ongoing documentation of marginalised communities within prosperous nations has recently won her the Magnum Foundation 2010 Inge Morath award for Female Photographers under 30 years of age.

The next photographer I have chosen for this post is:

Tony Middleton

Tony has a passion for the natural world and photographing it. Based on the spectacular South Gippsland coast where the Strzelecki ranges meet the forces and fury of Bass Strait it is easy to see why. Travelling by 4WD he spends time away each year experiencing and photographing other regions of the country as well as some of the splendours of Victoria.

Here are some examples of his work.

'Autumn in the park'

'Skeleton forest of the clouds'
